Orchard Opening and Wassail – Monday 28th December – All Welcome

There will be a ceremony to unveil a small name plaque at Tarves Community Orchard at Bede way in Tarves.

The event is to celebrate the passing of the year and to dedicate it in the memory of Richard (Dick) Reville and will be unveiled by Anne his wife.   A first new plum tree will be planted to mark the occasion. The Community Orchard is to be expended in the coming year.

wASSAILAs part of the event, there will be a small wassail cup of cider and a blessing of the Orchard by Susanna Bichard.

Friends and neighbours of Dick Reville and those interested in the Orchard are very cordially invited to meander down to the site on Bede Way (Directly opposite the Junction with Manse walk)  

1:15pm on THIS Monday 28th December.

Cider, apple juice and mince pies on offer.

Anyone interested in helping or learning more about the local Orchard projects in Tarves and around, please come and speak to Paul Johnston next Monday.
