“FOOTBALL CAGE” YOUTH EVENT – THIS SATURDAY 19 AUGUST

INDOOR BOWLING – TUESDAY 19th SEPT – COME & TRY SESSION

Barthol Chapel Bowlers will be restarting the new session of indoor bowling on Tuesday 19th September at the school  at  7.30.

 

We would invite anyone who wants to come along to a ‘Come and Try’ session to join us that evening.

Indoor Bowling is a pleasant relaxing but competitive sport open to all ages. ( Under 16’s should be accompanied by a responsible adult)

We are a friendly bunch who meet every term Tuesday at the school during  September to April for a game and a fly cup at the close around about 9.30. It’s a great way to pass a winters evening!!

TARVES HERITAGE PROJECT – 14 AUGUST – WALL HANGING MEETING

Pieces for the textile artwork are beginning to come in and we are looking forward to receiving lots more.

There is a meeting at the Tarves Heritage Centre tonight, Monday 14th August from 7 pm. Come along if you can even for a short time with your work.

ROTARY COMMUNITY FUND 2017

Local Rotary groups raise money for many international causes but they always dedicate a big proportion to local charitable support, both for people and for local groups. Oldmeldrum Rotary have a local Community Fund covering the town and villages around Oldmeldrum.

The fund awards £250 for suitable applicants all small projects to help them along the way.
