The annual Haddo House Snow Ball is on the Saturday 7th February 2015. Always a great event in aid of Haddo House Choral and Operatic Society.

We are now looking for someone to join the team at Haddo. The position is primarily for weekends (Saturday and Sunday), on a year-round basis. There will also be the opportunity for extra hours through the week during school holidays, so flexibility in working pattern is essential. Ideally, applicants will have previous coffee machine/cafe experience. If you are interested, please contact me.

It’s 1643 and Sir John Gordon is on the run from the Covenanting Army. A small detachment of Royalist troops have been left to defend Haddo…
Experience an authentic 17th century military camp, with musket and pike displays, cannon fire, authentic food and medicines, musket ball casting and a grand skirmish on the Scot’s Mile.
The camp is open from 11am-4.30pm with displays and activities throughout the day.

The lakeside meadows at Haddo are home to an incredible display of wild flowers, many of which used to be common in the Aberdeenshire countryside. Join a local expert and learn how to identify wildflowers using various methods, you will also find out more about these fascinating plants and how to encourage them to grow near you.
