TARVES DEVELOPMENT TRUST NEWS

TDT (Tarves Development Trust) learned at the end of last week that we had secured a grant to help purchase a motorised pavement snow plough for the village. Our problem now is where to keep it so we need to get a storage container not only for the plough but for other equipment used by the volunteers who help keep Tarves a great place to live.

If you, someone you know, maybe you employer who has a surplus container they no longer need and would be willing to gift to the village or sell it to us cheap or where we can get one at a good price please let me know.

Come next winter we will be looking for help to keep our pavements clear, if you would be willing to be trained in the use of the pavement cleaner just let me know, the snow blade or brush fit on front of the power unit.

Thanks,
David H on behalf of TDT

Police Scotland Annual Police Plan 2018

Survey – Annual Police Plan 2018 – 19
_____
Annual Police Plan 2018/19

Police Scotland is currently developing the 2018/19 Annual Police Plan which will be laid before the Scottish Parliament at the end of March.

Our plan has been shaped around the areas of focus within the Policing 2026 strategy ‘Serving a Changing Scotland’ of prevention, protection, communities, knowledge and innovation. It sets out the policing priorities for 2018/19 and summarises the planned activities to address these priorities.

We are keen to engage with you and offer you the opportunity to comment on extracts from the draft plan via the following Citizen Space survey:
consult.scotland.police.uk/consultation/annual-police-plan/

I would appreciate if you could consider the information within the survey and provide feedback by 21 February 2018. Your feedback will be very useful as we develop the final version of the plan in March 2018.

If you have any queries regarding this engagement phase, please contact Sergeant Keith Forrester via strategicplanningdevelopment@scotland.pnn.police.uk < mailto:strategicplanningdevelopment@scotland.pnn.police.uk> .

Yours sincerely

Malcolm Graham
