Police Scotland Survey

Shaping our direction and delivery
2019-2022 – survey

We are keen to get our National survey out to as many organisations, groups and members of the public as possible. It really is an opportunity to have your say on the strategic direction of Police Scotland over the next three years and to have your voice heard.

It is set up to accept responses as individuals or collated responses on behalf of groups or organisations, so I’ll leave it for you to decide how you do this. It is also allows you skip aspects that you don’t feel are relevant to you – you can say as much or as little as you want. The survey itself explains the background and we’d really appreciate it if you could share it across all your own networks to ensure we get as wide a response as possible, including externally.

All I’d add is that the more feedback we get, the more we can shape things going forward. I have attached a printable version attached, should you require it.

There are six sections:

* Keeping people safe
* Communities are at the heart of policing
* Contacting and talking to us
* Supporting our people
* Managing demand
* Our policing priorities

Our survey can be completed online at:

The survey closes on Monday 18 March 2019.

Haddo Medical Group – Methlick Surgery – Temporary Closure

The Methlick branch of Haddo Medical Group has been forced to temporarily shut its doors due to long-term staff illness and maternity leave.
A statement from the surgery said that a partner is due to take maternity leave, while a further two members of staff have taken long-term sick leave.
Aberdeenshire Health & Social Care Partnership location manager Kimberley Menzies said: “The Methlick branch surgery has been closed as a temporary measure due to sickness absence and a staff vacancy.
“For the meantime, patients are being offered appointments at the main surgery in Pitmedden, which will continue to provide the full range of services required.
“We would like to thank everybody for their patience while these arrangements are in place and will provide updates as matters progress.”
